To alleviate confusion in downtown Atlanta, Signature Design created a series of beautiful wayfinding elements that help visitors to find some of Atlanta’s most significant tourist destinations.

Design Approach

Signature Design created design concepts for a wayfinding system and a series of iconic monuments for three nationally significant sites in Georgia including the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center and Historic District, and the Andrew Young International Boulevard. 

The goal of the project was two-fold. One, tourists needed clear guidance to these significant sights from highway signs, to exit ramps, to local streets that included roundabouts and boulevards. In addition, the signs needed to reflect these important leaders and their visions through subtle, direct design features easily viewed from roadways.
