Years of Experience: 30 Years
Therese specializes in interpretive exhibits, graphic design, and signage. She has had the opportunity to work for and to collaborate with clients. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Graphic Design in 1978, Therese began her career with a EU Grant to work for the Irish Government Agency, Kilkenny Design Workshops. Her work there promoted Irish products through branding, retail, and displays. Since then, Therese has focused on combining skills in graphic design, signage, and 3dimentional display and exhibits to build meaningful and educational experiences for visitors to the destinations where they travel, with the goal to inspire wonder, educate and entertain.
Therese established Signature Design in 1993 as a collaborative firm specializing in interpretive design, wayfinding, and signage for visitor centers, museums, historic sites, state and national parks, and botanical gardens. Therese’s responsibilities include conceptual design, strategic team building, and project management for branding, signage, interpretive exhibits and environmental design projects.
